Facelift

Commitment to Recycling and the Environment

From replacement windows and doors, to a new conservatory roof, or insulating and replacing a house roof, many of our services are designed to save energy.

We feel it is important for our customers to know what happens to the rubbish taken from their property when Facelift is undertaking any work for them. Please be assured that we hold a current waste carriers’ licence and take our responsibilities with regard to waste disposal very seriously.

Facelift has partnerships with a number of local companies to ensure that our waste is properly sorted and recycled. We have a dedicated yard where waste is separated into wood, glass, metal, hard plastics, general plastics and general rubbish. This is all then separately collected and recycled by our specialist partners.

We are also committed to recycling within our office and have taken steps to go above and beyond what can be collected in the ‘red top bin’. All office consumables are recycled including pens, paper, cardboard, printer ink cartridges and toners, and we have separate bins in our staff kitchen for cans, bottles, metal and plastic food containers.

Facelift has now launched a scheme to recycle other items that can be sent via Terracycle for recycling to encourage our staff to recycle a wider range of waste not only produced in the office but also for employees to bring in from home. We now collect crisp packets, sweet and biscuit wrappers, used make up containers and dental products to send off for recycling.
