The client wanted a complete reconfiguration of their downstairs space to create a modern, open-plan living area that would improve the flow between rooms, increase natural light, and offer increased functionality for day-to-day living.

Underfloor Heating Throughout the Downstairs
We installed energy-efficient underfloor heating across the entire downstairs space, offering a comfortable, streamlined heating solution that eliminates the need for bulky radiators.
Room Remodelling: Creating an Open-Plan Kitchen and Living Space
We knocked through existing walls between the dining room, kitchen, and utility room to create a spacious, open-plan area. This new design maximised natural light and created a versatile space for cooking, dining, and entertaining. The kitchen was fitted with modern units, premium worktops, and skylights to further enhance the light and airy feel of the space.
Rear Extension: New Dining and Games Room
A new extension to the rear of the house provided additional living space, creating a combined dining and games room. We custom-designed and hand-built wall cabinets and a window seat to meet the client’s specific requirements, adding both functionality and charm to the room. uPVC triple-glazed French windows and aluminium bi-folding doors with integral blinds were installed to provide access to the garden, offering excellent insulation, security, and ease of use.
New Utility Room
The newly built utility room offered convenient space for laundry and storage, with a uPVC back door providing direct access to the garden.
Living Room Layout Redesign
To optimise the layout of the living room, we replaced an existing window and French doors with large triple-glazed French windows, which provided better views, improved insulation, and a more seamless design.
New Bathroom Installation
A complete bathroom remodel was carried out, featuring contemporary fixtures, stylish tiling, and modern lighting, creating a sleek, spa-like environment.
Electrical, Plastering, and Decorating Work
We installed all-new electrics throughout the downstairs area, ensuring the home met modern safety and efficiency standards. Our expert plasterers and decorators finished the renovation with smooth plastering, clean paintwork, and premium finishes to complete the transformation.
